WHAT CAUSES DRY OR WATERY EYES?

Dry or watery eyes occur when your tear film ‘ingredients’ get out of balance causing disruption to the sensitive eye surfaces.

 

It can be induced by a number of health and lifestyle factors and has a collection of widely varying symptoms including:

 

Sensation of dryness

Tired eyes or gritty eyes

Burning, stinging, itching

Redness

Intermittent excessive watering

Blurred or smeary vision

Irritation from wind or smoke

Sensitivity to light

Contact lens discomfort or reduced wearing times
