QUALIFIED DISPENSING OPTICIAN
Assistant Manager
FBDO and GOC Registered
JOB TYPE: Full time
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
-
Have extensive experience dispensing various lens types for a wide range of prescriptions
-
Be a people person with a passion for learning new things
-
Have excellent communication skills and be good at explaining / resolving prescription queries
-
Be happy to think outside the box and go above and beyond to get things just right

Have a passion for driving a thriving business forward as a team player
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Dispensing spectacles for patients with accurate measurements and superb fitting
-
Lab work, organisation and spectacle assembly
-
Contact lens teaches, ordering and recommendations
-
Ordering lenses direct from suppliers for optimum outcome
- Problem resolution to delight our patients
- Enjoy specialisms such as bespoke frames, myopia management, sports lenses and colorimetry
- Interpretation of KPIs to drive team training topics and support
- Meetings with business owner to decide forward strategies and development

Up to £35,000 dependent on experience
