Rechecks and Remakes of Spectacles
We hope you love your eyewear from us.

Should you find your frames needing adjustment at any time please contact us to come in and have them expertly refitted – we recommend routine 6 monthly refitting to ensure you get the best fit from your glasses – this is a free of charge service extended to all complete spectacles purchased from us.
Should you have any query about your vision please contact us. You are covered under our 30 day lens comfort guarantee; this means should you not be comfortable with your vision within the first month after collection, we will book you in to see one of our qualified dispensing opticians. We will do our utmost to resolve things there and then, but if further exploration is deemed clinically necessary, we will invite you to one free sight test recheck.

Spectacle Cancellations, Remakes and Refunds.

We will start your custom spectacle order immediately. All glasses are custom crafted for each patient with their unique prescription. Each spectacle lens is custom made and cut to fit the frame the patient has selected. Therefore, frames cannot be changed after their lenses have been ordered and cancellations of spectacles due to a change of mind cannot be accepted.
In the event of circumstances requiring cancellation after orders are placed, a full refund will not be possible due to the investments incurred.
Should we have provided the initial eye examination results, and a remake of your lens to a new prescription be required to improve your vision, we will remake to the same type of lens, free of charge once.
Should a change of lens type be chosen at remake, a dispensing fee of £49 applies to each new dispense / pair of glasses.
If there is a balance owing to you, we will provide a credit to your account for future spends.
For any refunds provided, a £20 administration fee will apply in addition to any dispensing fees or other costs incurred.
If we make glasses to a prescription from an external provider, we will offer a £35 vision check before dispensing (free to Eyecare Plan members), to verify expected visions and determine if a new eye examination would be beneficial before providing new lenses. Should a vision check be declined, we cannot accept responsibility for the prescription.
The Eye Examination and dispensing consultation we provide enables us to make bespoke, professional recommendations and we pride ourselves on providing your best eyewear solutions. We do not accept responsibility for your prescription if used externally.
